Galactomannan-Based Mucilage from Trigonella foenum-graecum L.: Structural Insights, Extraction Strategies, and Applications in Food and Sustainable Biomaterials
We presented a comprehensive review of galactomannan-based mucilage from fenugreek seeds, synthesizing current knowledge on structure, extraction methods, and functional properties. The review highlights emerging applications of fenugreek mucilage as a sustainable hydrocolloid in food systems and bio-based materials, and outlines key opportunities and challenges for future development.

2D NMR detection and quantification of heroin in a street sample
We developed a 2D NMR–based method for identifying and quantifying opioids directly in complex street drug samples without reliance on spectral libraries. Using COSY and HSQC NMR, this approach resolves overlapping signals, enables partial structure elucidation of unexpected analogues, and is effective on both high-field and benchtop instruments, providing a practical new tool for forensic drug analysis in the evolving opioid landscape.

Albumin–ruthenium catalyst conjugate for
bio-orthogonal uncaging of alloc group
We introduced an albumin–ruthenium artificial metalloenzyme as an alternative to traditional antibody–drug conjugates, enabling bioorthogonal catalytic uncaging of alloc-protected payloads under physiologically relevant conditions. By conjugating quinoline-ligated Ru catalysts to albumin, we demonstrated efficient uncaging of fluorescent probes and doxorubicin in glutathione-rich environments, establishing a protein–metal catalyst platform that decouples drug delivery from payload release and expands the design space for targeted chemotherapy.
